Who helps you
Meet Rene Acosta
Immigration Consultant · Founder
My name is Rene Acosta, and for more than 30 years I have helped people and families prepare their immigration paperwork.
I am an immigrant myself, and I remember how hard it can be to arrive in this country and try to work, study and get ahead. That experience has shaped the way I do my job and the way I treat everyone who comes into my office.
Over my career I have had the chance to meet and help people from many different countries, with very different stories: couples who want to build a life together, parents who want to help their children, children who want to help their parents, and families simply looking for a chance to get ahead.
That is what I love most about this work. Behind every filing there is a person, a family and a story.
People who know me and have worked with me would probably say I am direct and straightforward. I do not like creating false expectations, or telling someone only what they want to hear. My job is to help you understand your process, prepare and organize your documents properly, and keep communication clear throughout.
I have watched immigration laws, policies and priorities change under both Democratic and Republican administrations. Governments change and processes change, but I have tried to keep my way of working the same: listen to the person first, understand their situation, and help them the best way I can.
Outside of work, I really enjoy travelling and getting to know different places and cultures. I love baseball, the beach and, above all, spending time with my family and friends.
I still enjoy what I do, but most of all I am still grateful for the trust that each person and each family places in me when they let me be part of such an important moment in their life.
